September/October 2009 Kids in the City Promotion
The Concept
The Kids in the City Playground Pass is a shopping discount pass for children living in or visiting Shepparton during the September October school holidays.
The pass has a number of discounts or value-add offers from local retailers available exclusively within the pass. Children can pick up their Kids in the City Playground Pass at any participating business, online at www.kidsinthecity.com.au.
To redeem the voucher, participating businesses stamp their offer and when a child collects three or more discounts they can enter the draw at Video Ezy to win on of three prizes from the Treasure Chest.
Terms and Conditions
- The Kids in the City Playground Pass can be collected from any of the participating businesses, online at www.kidsinthecity.com.au or at the Council Offices, 90 Welsford Street, Shepparton.
- The Kids in the City Playground Pass offers are valid from Friday 18 September to Sunday 4 October 2009.
- There is a limit of one pass per person.
- Offers are available at the discretion of the individual business.
- Offers may be withdrawn at any time by the individual business owner.
- Shepparton Show Me takes no responsibility for any individual business choosing not to redeem their offer.
- Competition entries for must be received on or before 5.00pm Monday 5 October 2009.
- Completed entries must be placed in the barrel at Video Ezy, 128 Maude Street Shepparton.
- Entries are only deemed valid if the Kids in the City Playground Pass is stamped and offers redeemed at three or more participating businesses.
- The "Treasure Chest" major prize entitles the winner to a two (2) minute dash for toys at Toyworld to the value of $500.00. This prize is not redeemable for cash or valid with any other offer.
- The second prize in the “Treasure Chest” is one new release DVD (52 total) per week for 12 months thanks to Video Ezy.
- The 52 new releases will come in the form of vouchers to be redeemed at Video Ezy, Shepparton.
- No more than one voucher can be redeemed per transaction.
- Normal hiring conditions apply, see in store for details.
- The third prize in the "Treasure Chest" is a $150 to spend at Cold Rock within. Voucher is valid for 12 months from date of issue.
- All prizes are not redeemable for cash.
- All winners will need to show proof they are the winner in order for them to redeem their prize.
- Shepparton Show Me takes no responsibility for additional costs incurred above the value of the prize.
- The winners of one the Treasure Chest prizes will be notified by either by phone or mail within 14 days of the competition close date.
- Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered in to.
- If the winner is under 18 years of age the child’s legal parent or guardian will be the caretaker of the prize.
- The promoter and prize redeemers reserve the right to request the winner provide proof of identity to redeem prizes.
- If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bug, tampering, unauthorised intervention, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individuals who tamper the entry process.
- Employees and the immediate family of Shepparton Show Me and agencies and companies associated with the promotion are ineligible to win a prize from the Treasure Chest.

The Treasure Chest Prize
Redeem three or more discounts, get them stamped & drop the pass in to the draw at Video Ezy, Maude Street, Shepparton and you can win one of three prizes from the Treasure Chest!
The treasure chest has three prizes for three lucky winners:
- A two (2) minute dash for your favourite toys at Oke's Toy Warehouse to the value of $500
- OR A free new release movie every week for 12 months
- OR a $150 voucher to spend at Cold Rock Ice Creamery
